Scott ThompsonSubject: Is this the product for me?
Author: Scott Thompson

I haven't purchased the product yet and wanted to get some users input. I am creating XML from datasets in asp.net. I am basically looking for an editor to help me create the XSL for the XML produced from the dataset by .NET. Does this product offer any benefit over using a regular text editor to create the style sheet? Is there a way for this product to know what my XML structure will be? Thanks for your time and answers.

As to editing XML, this product provides much more help than just
a regular text editor. You can use it to debug, step-by-step,
XSLT that doesn't work as expected. The color-coded editor helps
to ensure your XSLT syntax is valid, and speeds typing by Sense:X
technology, which prompts you for the next valid element or value
where possible.

The two-mapping technology lets you visually build a map between the
source XML and the target output, provided you have just a sample of
either XML or a schema.

Most likely, Stylus Studio can help you immensely. Try it out by
downloading the evaluation version at
