Hello,

I have used Stylus Studio to create my XML Schema and used attributes in elements.
The problem is that it gives me an error when validationg because:
I am having both use and default in attribute element as follows:

<xsd:attribute name="position" type="AttrPos" use="required" default="absolute"/>

as I know, this is not an error but it says error when validating!!

hope to get an answer soon

Shemeri

Hi Shemeri,

The error message is pretty much self explanatory:
<<"If default and use are both present, use must have the value 'optional'">>

In this case the built-in validator (Xerces) treats the condition as error, other validators may flag it differently.
That's reason why Stylus Studio allows using different XML Schema validators.

Hope this helps
Ivan
