SSDN AdminSubject: OASIS XML Catalogs Tutorial
Author: SSDN Admin
Date: 28 Feb 2005 02:45 PM
OASIS XML Catalogs provide location-transparency, which makes the transition from development to deployment simpler when files reference other files. No longer do you have to worry about fixing up all the references to C:\db44\docbookx.dtd in your 4000 XML files to the proper location on your server; just having one development catalog and one deployment catalog, which can differ by just a few lines, can make those troubles disappear.

Stylus Studio XML Professional Edition contains tools that make using catalogs much simpler – Sense:X support, delegation, intelligent navigation even through nested catalogs – it's all there. See how Stylus Studio's unique and advanced support of catalogs can make your project's transition from the lab to the real world a wee bit smoother.

Read a new tutorial on OASIS XML Catalogs, written by Tony Lavinio, SW Architect, Principal, Stylus Studio Team (also the developer responsible for having built support for OASIS catalogs in Stylus Studio) at: http://www.stylusstudio.com/super_catalogs.html
