How can I parse the meta information of a stylesheet to get the used scenarios and input xsd etc?

I have tried xalan:nodeset etc

That's an interesting question (even if I am supposed to tell you that you
shouldn't to mess with the metainformation block, that it could change
anytime and so on).

I tried playing with something like this:

{xsl:variable name="metainfo"}
{wrapper}
{xsl:value-of disable-output-escaping="yes"
select="document('')/comment()"/}
{/wrapper>
{/xsl:variable}

....and a {xsl:copy-of select="$metainfo"/} would seem promising; but then
when I try doing xalan:nodeset($metainfo)/wrapper/metaInformation that
doesn't seem to work as expected; it's as if the rtf displayed for
$metainfo just contained text as value of {wrapper}

I think you have to use xalan extension eval ?
