Lee HumphriesSubject: SS4.5.103m Crash: Checking file out of VSS
Author: Lee Humphries

I had just started editing a file.
I answered yes to the usual pop-up about checking the file out of VSS and BANG!

The fragment of .log file you posted doesn't contain much information; as a
crash may generate multiple entries in the .log file, if struzzo.log
contains more than what you have already posted, can you send us (posting
it or sending it to my email address) the entire .log file?

I'm assuming this crash is not easily reproducible, right?

Thanks,
Minollo

Well normally they're not that reproducible. But this time seems to be a bit of an exception.

That Struzzo.log was the entire thing (I always delete them after I've sent them to you).

So here's the next one in the series.

Same thing, started editing a file that I hadn't yet checked out, pop-up appears asking if I want to check out the file, I answer yes and BANG!.

Side points, on each occasion I had:
Two SS sessions operating.
More than one file open in the session that failed.
The files themselves were XML containing a large CDATA block. It was the text in the CDATA that I had just started editing.

Thanks for the details; they are very useful to let us understand what's
going on there.
We'll let you know what we find out.

Thanks again,
Minollo
