Samuel C. YangSubject: What version of XSLT is supported?
Author: Samuel C. Yang

In your online datasheet for Stylus 1, you state that Stylus conforms to the XSLT Proposed Recommendation (which came out in October).

However, Stylus Help states that the Stylus native XSLT processor is compliant with the August 1999 XSLT Working Draft.

Which version of the XSLT spec does Stylus 1 really support? I hope it is the October version, or else I'd need to get a refund.

Also, there are no Release Notes for Stylus 1. What are the known limitations of the product? There was no information online before I purchased the product, but I thought for sure that the product would contain that. There is not a shred of documentation except for the (apparently outdated) Stylus Help.

Stylus does in fact support the October Proposed Rec of XSLT -- the help is in error. Thank you for bringing that to our attention.

The main current limitation is that there is no support for external DTDs. I will post a detailed list of processor compliance notes here shortly.
