Mr AstraconSubject: XSLT extersion function problem in latest version
Author: Mr Astracon

I am using Stylus Studio 4.0 100j.

I am unable to register a java class in the XML mapper as an XSLT extension function. I have no problems with the example XSLT java extension example that you supply (IntDate).

I got the XLST extension function from:

http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/jw-12-2001/xslt/jw-1221-xslt.zip

I am using the Xalan-J processor rather than the inbuilt one.

What am i doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

The XML mapper extension registration works only on extension functions
that are recognized by the internal processor. XalanJ has more relaxed
rules for the syntax required by Java extension functions; so, even if you
are able to run the XalanJ processor against any recognized Java extension
function, you won't be able to automatically register it in mapper.
