Al NormanSubject: Problem in Beta 4 with editing DTDs
Author: Al Norman
Date: 06 Sep 2002 01:54 PM
I have found a problem with the latest version of the Beta for SS 4.0. When I reverse engineer an XML file to get a DTD (external), all of the attributes for an element are flagged as CDATA #REQUIRED. I then go into tree mode and change an attribute to optional (using the grid in the lower-left corner). I then switch to text mode and see that the attribute is now flagged as CDATA -- the #REQUIRED is gone, which seems correct. If I then attempt to switch back to tree mode, I get a parsing error on that line -- it appears that SS is expected an empty string "" for optional parameters .....
