Brian JamiesonSubject: Base URL not working with Xalan
Author: Brian Jamieson

Using SS4.0, build091c I have created a scenario transforming XML to HTML using the Xalan-J processor. The XML and XSL are in the directory where I want the HTML file. When I previewed the transform I failed to get the HTML links resolved correctly, i.e. no script or css files were referenced.

I added the Base URL to the directory and still did not see the links. I noticed that there is no tag added to the HTML when I used Xalan for the transform. The tag was added when I use the SS processor.

Why would using Xalan prevent the tag from being added to the transform?

Yes, we are aware of this issue.
It's fixed in our (un-released) main branch. The fix will be part of the
next update, available in a couple of days.

Thanks for reporting this,
Minollo
