(Deleted User) Subject: Passing Parameters
Author: (Deleted User)

We have used a set of parameters. When we set them to numbers in the scenario dialogue things work fine. When we put in a letter we get an error. If I enclose the parameter in single quotes and include a letter it works fine.

That's actually the expected behavior; when you set parameters you can
either specify the parameter as an XPath expression (letters, no quotes) or
as a literal string (numbers or letters in quotes). This gives you the
flexibility to do both.

We do know that this may be confusing; we are changing the parameter dialog
so that it makes it more clear if it is going to pass the parameter as a
string or as an expression.

Thanks,
Minollo
