Adam Van den HovenSubject: Feature request
Author: Adam Van den Hoven

Good afternoon,

I've just come up with a potentially useful feature. It would be nice to have the find/replace facilities XML aware. So I want to replace all the = in my xsl to %3d. Now if I were to do a replace all on = I would end up with a whole lot of bad xml. Further I only want to replace the = that are text nodes within xsl:text elements. Or perhaps I want to do a replace foo with 'foo' within the select attribute of my xsl:variable elements.

Clearly this means that the text being searched needs to be well formed before searching but that shouldn't be too onerous a requirement.

Good work!
Adam

It makes sense.
I'm filing this as a PCR (I must say, lower level than several others...).

Thanks for the suggestion,
Minollo

If I keep this up, you guys are going to get very tired of me.;)

Another idea is an MRU list of projects. It would also be nice to choose to have the start up directory be the last directory you used. Having separate directories remembered for files and projects would be good.

Keep sending feedback and suggestions! We all appreciate!

It's already there, File|Recent Projects

We already have a PCR filed for directory defaults in the Open File dialog;
but thanks for reminding us, it will be done.

Thanks again,
Minollo

Can I vote many times for the smart find and replace. There have been many times that would have saved me some serious editing. (Of course, smarter initial manipulation on my part of help too). Jerry Nelson
