I would like to be able to remove the stylus studio meta information that is placed at the bottom of every XSLT. It cannot be seen when in studio, but can be seen in a browser.

Also, I seem to be able to undo after save on an XML document, and not on an XSL.
Another minor issue, every time I save an XSL file, the document automatically scrolls the line with the cursor to the bottom of the window, again, it doesn't happen with an XML document.

What Stylus Studio build are you running (Help|About)?
Minollo

That's a quite old

I am now running build 47d, and it appears to still be doing it...

Ok, than I need more details about what you are doing and the problem you
are seeing. Can you walk me step by step through what you are doing and seeing?

ok - when editing a long xslt document and the window has a scroll bar, if I hit ctrl s, or the save icon in the tools bar, the window will scroll automatically to the line which has the cursor in it, causing that line to be at the very bottom of the window.
It doesn't happen when the document is shorter than the window it is in.
Does this make sense?

Yes, it does; I understand what you are saying, and we are aware of this
issue. And yes, saving the document flushes the undo queue.
These issues are filed in our problem tracking database; we will work on
them soon.

The meta information is currently always saved as a comment at the bottom
of the XSLT file. If you open the XSLT with a text editor or IE5, yes, you
will see the meta information block; but what kind of problems does this
create? The meta information block is useful if you want to re-open/re-run
the stylesheet again in Stylus Studio; if you decide to use a different
viewer/editor, you can just remove it.

Basically, the amount of stylesheets we are developing, we could do without the extra bloat of a few lines in each one - albeit harmless code.
Thanks,
Paul.
