I have installed stylus studio 15 on a windows 2008 r2. when I double click on the icon I keep on getting the attached image. this server is a brand new server. is there any other components or configurations that I need to install as well? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Gary,

If Stylus Studio cannot start either the installation could not successfully install all its components or something interferes when it's running.

If you have a file with extension .log in the bin folder can you post it here? The log file may contain useful information on which module is loading when the error occurs.

Did you get prompt to restart after the installation completed?

Do you Java 1.8 32 bit (x86) installed on this machine?

The installation completed without any issues. The issue is that when I go to start the application it will get that error message(I believe the bugchecker) and force me to restart the application. I don’t have any files with a .log extension in the bin directory. I have installed Java.

1.8.0_66 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM Oracle Corporation
