While editing an XSD schema, I've been working in the diagram/text mode. I use the +/- icons to expand and collapse nodes, but I'd like to have a little more control of this functionality.
For example, let's say that we have a top node with 500 children. What I'd like to do is select the node and "expand one level." At the moment, I find myself having to manually go through the entire XSD and collapsing each child so that I can achieve an appropriately detailed view of my schema.
Does this "expand/collapse one level" exist in Stylus Studio? If so, I'm begging for the hot key(s). If not, I'll ask for the feature enhancement.
Thanks!
Matt
PS: When I switch between the "diagram" and "tree" views, I lose all my collapses, leaving the entire document is expanded...kind of frustrating. I can understand this happening when a document is closed and opened (e.g. starting a new Stylus Studio session), but I didn't expect this behavior from the editor. Any ideas?

Hi Matthew,
the functionality you are looking for is not available in Stylus; we will add to the list of features to be considered for a future release.

Hi Marie,
yes, the feature is available; just right click on the +/- symbol and you will get a context menu from which you can pick one of these choices:
- If the block is expanded, and you right click on the - symbol:
- Collapse block: it's the default choice, it will collapse the current block as if you left clicked on the - symbol
- Collapse child blocks: it will leave the current block expanded, collapsing all its child blocks; you will get a single level of expanded blocks
- Collapse sibling blocks: it will collapse the current block and also all the blocks at the same level
- If the block is collapsed, and you right click on the + symbol:
- Expand block: it's the default choice, it will expand the current block as if you left clicked on the + symbol
- Expand sibling blocks: it will expand the current block and also all its sibling blocks
