Jamil TaylorSubject: Specifying Values For XSL Parameters
Author: Jamil Taylor

This is a minor UI modification request--

When I define parameters in an xslt document, it is not clear where in Stylus Studio I enter the values these parameters should have. If I click the Edit Scenario Properties button followed by the Parameter Values tab on the next window that appears, it is not obvious that I must enter text on this screen.

The window appears to be display only, and it took a little time to figure out I must click a portion of this display to type in the parameter value. Some data on this screen is display-only, but it looks identical to the data that can be changed by the user. A visual clue of some sort that you should define parameter values on this screen would be helpful. Perhaps a text-entry box with the default system color of this control.

Thanks for your suggestion; I tend to agree with you that the Parameters entry page could be designed better. I'm filing a PCR to see if we can find development cycles to improve it.
