Hello,
I installed the new version of Stylus Studio Enterprise edition last night. I tried to setup a RelationalDB connection using the same settings as my other version (Build 735f), but am getting an error. What settings in the new version do I need to change in order to get my RelationalDB connection to work?

The error I am getting is:

[XQuery][DB2 JDBC Driver]Unsupported VM encoding Cp500.

java.sql.SQLException: [XQuery][DB2 JDBC Driver]Unsupported VM encoding Cp500.

I would guess you are using Java 1.4.

cp500 is an EBCDIC encoding, and the Java 1.4 JDK does not support
EBCDIC. You need 5.0 or higher.

In addition be sure to have multiple languages support in your JRE.

Hope this helps

Could you provide the appropriate URL? I'm seeing several listed for JDK5 and I'm not sure which one I should download.

http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index_jdk5.jsp

Thanks

I would go with "Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 11" if you are not planning to do java development or other ways "JDK 5.0 Update 11"

This worked, plus I did not have my JRE and JDK versions set the same. Once I did that, it worked.

I'm also having some issues setting up the Xalan processor but will watch some other topics because I think others are also having similar issues.

Would it be beneficial for the next release to have some sort of import option to import all existing settings to the new version?

Thanks
