Rick ScofieldSubject: XQuery with JDBC connection issue
Author: Rick Scofield
Date: 31 Aug 2014 11:18 AM
I've been using XQuery to update MySQL community edition database for months now and been working perfectly until now. I'm getting a timeout error because the JDBC cannot seem to connect to the DB. I have checked the server path and DB login information. I suspect the Java update that just came through (update 1.7.0_67)messed something up, the update also removed previous versions. This I think is the problem.

I have also gone into tools>options>Java Virtual Machine and seleced the 'Auto Detect' button which select 1.7.0_67 for the JVM. How can I verify that SS has the correct java components needed, do I need to revert to a JVM installation?

Thanks for the help! Rick

XQuery is really coming in handy for the validation purpose, https://errorcode0x.com/error-code-0x80070002/ helped me to get the solution so far.
