Mark ShorttSubject: Trying to get 2nd value of node (query holds but emply result)
Author: Mark Shortt

I'm trying to get the displayName="DIVERTICULITIS SM"

<value xsi:type="CD" displayName="DIVERTICULITIS SM" nullFlavor="UNK">

Query
declare namespace a = "urn:hl7-org:v3";
{
data(/a:ClinicalDocument/a:component/a:section/a:entry/a:observation/a:value/@displayName)
}

Comes up empty.
Any ideas on how to get the displayName value?

Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,

Could you post your input document?

Are you testing such query inside Stylus Studio?

It's a CCD document. This is how we will exchange Health Information beginning in 2013. It's a HL7 standard for "Continuity of Care Document" it's line number 313 in Sylus Studio.
thanks

Your path seems to be incomplete, the following works

declare namespace a = "urn:hl7-org:v3";

data(/a:ClinicalDocument/a:component/a:structuredBody/a:component/a:section/a:entry/a:act/a:entryRelationship/a:observation/a:value/@displayName)

Hope this helps

Thanks Ivan. Yes it is the right path. The patient has 3 problems I am going to try and get each problem in it's own tag instead of all three problems in one tag.
Thanks again for your help
Mark
