hi there

i'm creating A google map application with javascript and i have managed to save the necessary information from the MySQL database through a php file to XML. my question is instead of using the DOM in javascript to access the elements in the created XML document is it possible to use XQuery? any examples to see in order for me to understand? is it something similar to the code between XPath and javascript?

thank tou very much

The only project I am aware of is "XQuery in the browser" (http://www.xqib.org/) that embeds the Zorba engine in a IE6 plugin. There is also a paper describing the work at http://www.dbis.ethz.ch/research/publications/xqueryinthebrowser2007.pdf
