You can easily do that using a combination of DataDirect XQuery (www.xquery.com) and XML Converters (www.xmlconverters.com); we can show you how to do that if you attach the text files (or email them to stylus-field-report@progress.com).

you should actually do the work yourself.

This does sound suspiciously like a homework assignment.
