Hi Midas,

DB-to-XML DataSource is a Stylus Studio module designed to run SQL/XML queries. It was the first generation of product to bridge relation data and XML.

DataDirect XQuery is the latest technology, far more advance in term of capabilities and scalability.
DataDirect XQuery allows accessing a variety of data sources including EDI, flat files, Web Services and relation data.

For a complex query based only on RDB, how do you think the performance difference?

Thanks,

In our benchmarks the XQuery implementation out performs always SQL/XML.
