Luis garciaSubject: xquery and 1gb xml files

I am working with 1 gb xml files and I would like to use xquery to interogate these files. The problem is that when I try to load the file in Stylus studio the software runs out of memory. I therefore thought that I should use a xml native db. So I created some xqueries in stylus studio and then run them in exist and berkeley, but they run very slow. Could somebody advice me as what alternatives I do have to search these big xml files?

thanks
Luis

I would recommend trying DataDirect XQuery (http://www.datadirect.com/xquery); we do have customers successfully querying multi GB documents.

Unfortunately, Stylus Studio as a graphical IDE is not well suited to help you with that kind of large XML documents.
