Author: Agustín Bonillo

Hello, I have reading the Stylus Studio Documentation, and I have
seen the following information:

The StylusXql command-line utility allows you to use the XQuery
processor to execute an XQuery with Stylus Studio.
This utility is in the bin directory of your Stylus Studio installation
directory. The format for invoking the utility is as follows:

StylusXql <XQuery file> <input XML file> <output file>]

How I can use external variables with this utility?
How I can use external variables from the command line?

I will be very please if somebody could help me.

Hi Agustín,
the command line tool shipped with version 5.1 had no support for
specifying values for the external variables. You should upgrade to
version 5.3 (it's a free upgrade), that offers this feature.

Hope this helps,
Alberto
