Mohamed El WakilSubject: APIs or OCXs

Hi there,

I'm using Stylus Studio to develop XQuery expressions. I like the environment, but at the end, I will need to be able to call the XQuery expressions from my the programming language I'm using VB.NET.

So, are there APIs or COM components, which I can use to exploit Stylus Studio capabilities from VB.NET?

Regards,
Mohamed El Wakil

You can use Stylus Studio with system calls.

The StylusXql command-line utility allows you to use the XQuery
processor to execute an XQuery with Stylus Studio.

This utility is in the bin directory of your Stylus Studio installation
directory. The format for invoking the utility is as follows:

StylusXql <XQuery file> <input XML file> <output file>]

All parameters are required.

- XQuery file: The path of the XQuery you want to execute against the
input XML file.

- input XML file: The path of the XML document to be used to set the
current context for the XQuery.

- output file: File to which you want the XQuery result to be written.
