Anthony BatemanSubject: Remove leading Zeros from a string
Author: Anthony Bateman

I have an element that is output now as

<a:ProductNumber>000000000001003597</a:ProductNumber>

I would like it to be output without the leading zeros.

Is there an easy way to do this?

BR,

Tony.

<xsl:value-of select="number(ProductNumber)"/>

Thanks! I just found out that this works using the Built-In Processor; if you use the Saxon Processor, it returns an exponentially formatted number like 1.00000456E7.
