Ivan PedruzziSubject: Help merging two xslts into one.....

Hi Nayu,

After a quick compare using the Stylus Studio XML Diff it seems like that the 2 files differ only for a couple of XPath expression.
You could add a global parameter and use it in the XPath expression

<xsl:variable name="platform"/>

For example change this

"contentBlock/contentBlock[@type='abstract']/contentBlock[@type='plain'][data/@value='macintosh'][data/@value='tagline']/content" mode="tagline" /></TD>

to

"contentBlock/contentBlock[@type='abstract']/contentBlock[@type='plain'][data/@value=$platform][data/@value='tagline']/content" mode="tagline" /></TD>

Hope this helps
Ivan

You don't need the if statement just change the XPath expression to

<xsl:apply-templates select="contentBlock/contentBlock[@type='abstract']/contentBlock[@type='plain'][data/@value=$platform][data/@value='medium'][position()&lt;2]/content" mode="mediumblurb"/>

here is the change: data/@value=$platform

You will need to initilaize the global parameter before running
the stylesheet.

How do you invoke your stylesheet?
