Alicia MarinacheSubject: Convert to XML programmatically
Author: Alicia Marinache

Hi,

I am in search for a product that will allow me to do a convert to XML, but in a programatic way.

A little background: I do have a Flat File coming every day and I need to convert into an XML. The Flat File has the same schema, content will be different. I need the process to be automated, no human interaction whatsoever other than the definition of the schema and mapping bettwen the flat file and XML.

Stylus Studio does a good job on doing what I need (by defining the .conv file), but with human interaction. Is it possible to use a component from Stylus to accomplish my task?

TIA,
Alicia

Alicia,

Stylus Studio exposes a Java API to run the adapters.See the online documentation
http://www.stylusstudio.com/docs/v62/d_flatfileconversion11.html

Hope this helps
Ivan
