Hi, I am working on tool evaluation to check the feasibility of file conversion from XFILE to EDIFACT IATA PADIS format.

XFILE format is attached
<First 4 characters defines the length of that data record><Next 2 identifiers><Data record><First 4 length><2 identifiers><data record> etc

Please note there is no record delimiter. Is it possible to achieve this Stylus Studio.
Please reply as soon as possible so that we can consider this tool for our development.

Stylus Studio converter engines do not support such format.

It should to be trivial to design a parser in Java.

How big in kilobytes are the files you need to process?

Are the identifiers strictly ASCII character?

What character encoding is used?
