David ThorneSubject: Stylus Vs Xalan and variable scope
Author: David Thorne

when i use stylus xsl:variables they have global scope.
When i use Xalan the variables have limited scope (not that useful)

It seems that Xalan is correct as per the definitions but why this limitation

Is this a bug in Stylus?

Can you provide an example where Stylus is allowing xsl:variables to have global scope? You can attach an XML and XSL file to your reply.
