Peter SteinSubject: line numbers in validator output
Author: Peter Stein

The built-in validator appears to work correctly, but the reported line numbers don't make sense (much too big for the generated XML). This is for the case of running a xsl scenario. Clicking on any validation errors does not place the cursor on the corresponding XML (or the XSL).

If as an alternative I load the output XML and then associate it with a schema via XML->"Associate XML With Schema" and perform the validation on-page via the validate icon correct line numbers appear in the output which if clicked on place the cursor on the correct XML location.

Is there a way to configure scenarios so that this extra step isn't neccessary, i.e. the validator output has correct line numbers to begin with and will move cursor to the offending source location when clicked? Better yet move the cursor to the offending xsl rather than the source.
