Yes, I know. That's told in the manuals. Stylus doesn't! But eXcelon Explorer perhaps? Or eXcelon Server at least should?!? What else could be the use of this possibility? Do Server Extensions use them?

The primary use of binders is to allow queries and indices across multiple documents. At the moment, the easiest way to get an expanded binder is to run a query for /multidoc_container/* and save the results.
The eXcelon client API will soon allow retrieving documents with links expanded. Stylus will take advantage of that once it is available.
