Looks like my code detail is not visible so
I am gonna try attachements.

After discussions in XSL user group it became
apparent that this is a bug in eXcelon.
According to the specs this should work,
and it does work in Xalan and Saxon.

Menu3.xsl should work but doesn't
Menu3B.xsl works.
