Jean GraefSubject: Accessing Filemaker DB via ODBC
Author: Jean Graef

I would like to create an xsl style sheet to transform Filemaker data into a specialized xml format using the "db to XML database" option.

I'm running both Stylus Studio and Filemaker 8.5 on a Windows XP machine. I've set up a Filemaker ODBC connection using DataDirect SequelLink 5.4. I can successfully connect to the Filemaker database in the ODBC Manager, but I can't connect in Stylus Studio. I get the message:

[StylusStudio][SequeLink JDBC Driver][SequeLink Server]A connection to a SequeLink service, set up with ServiceCodePage = Database, requires at least SequeLink 5.4 client or higher for ODBC, JDBC or ADO.NET.

I read the instructions at http://www.stylusstudio.com/configure_data_source.html

It seems that I need something called SequeLink 5.4 Manager Snapin. How do I get this? Would it solve my problem?

Thanks,
Jean

The snapin should have installed with the Sequelink install.
