I have an xml data file that I am trying to validate against a schema. I keep getting the following error message:

Not enough elements to match content model : 'All(<List of elements>)'

I have added elements to a complexType using xsd:all

Please help!

If you send the XML Schema and document you are trying to validate to stylus-field-report@progress.com we will take a look.

Hi Ivan,

I am attaching a zip file (Schemas.zip) containing the master schema (RIA1040Schema.xsd) which has 'include' statements for all the other schemas in the zip file. The xml data file (XML_DATA.XML) that I am trying to validate against the master schema is in the zip file too.

Thanks for your help.

Saxon validator reports the following errors

Error on line 12 of MTIWORKSHEETSOTHER.xsd:
Duplicate type {QUESTIONType} - previously defined on line 12 of MTIQUESTIONSOTHER.xsd

Error on line 187 of IRSSCHEDULED.xsd:
The type {CAPGAINType} is referenced, but has not been declared

Hope this helps

Ivan,

I have fixed the validation errors for the master schema. The original issue I had was with the validation errors being genrated when I was trying to validate the xml data file (XML_DATA.xml) in the zip file against the master schema (RIA1040Schema.xsd).

I am attaching an updated zip file. Thanks.

There are other errors now.

Use Saxon to validate, the errors are pretty clear to decode.
Good luck.

I can resolve most of the errors. The one particular error I had a question about was

Not enough elements to match content model :

Can you please explain?

If you provide a test case that triggers just that error we will provide more details.
