Is there a way to expand an entire XML Schema diagram without having to click on every plus symbol?

No, there isn't a way to do that. The reason being that expansion of all blocks could be an extremely long and expensive operations against relatively complicated XML Schema documents.

We do try to keep the expansion state intact while you edit the schema, even when switching to different editing tabs.

It would be nice to be able to expand the diagram without having to click. It can be tedious using the mouse. I would like to see a way to highlight a part of the diagram, press a key, and have it expand. It would also be helpful to have a way to fully expand a portion of the diagram at a time.

I agree; what you are asking makes sense to me.
We'll work on a solution.

Thanks,
Minollo
