No standalone server component is currently available.

Would you recommend any server components from other companies
that would be mostly compatible with Stylus Studio?

I wanted to ask a related question. We are trying to get a flat ASCII -
XML conversion going. We succeeded in calling the conversions from ASCII
to XML from a JAVA program. We are now extending our tests to bigger
files to see it’s memory and CPU usage.

We have also deployed the solution on a second machine to see whether
it would run standalone without the Stylus IDE installed.
This would be a normal deployment for our products and solutions.
One of these platforms would be Sun, IBM or HP.
We have found that the XML converters custom file system require a
license. How do we get this license on a second machine without
installing the entire IDE that comes with the Stylus product?
Are there tools for that or is there a deployment description for?

Thanks for your answer.
Regards,

Frank

Frank,
details about how to invoke adapters programmatically can be found at:

http://www.stylusstudio.com/docs/v62/d_flatfileconversion11.html#wp467956

Please note that the current licensing scheme still requires a full Stylus
Studio installation to be present on the machine where you are deploying
the adapter; that will change in the next Stylus Studio 6 Release 3
release; currently, we can only make deployment modules not requiring a
full Stylus Studio installation available on a case by case basis. You may
want to contact stylusstudio@stylusstudio.com, or 781-280-4295 for more
details.

Thanks,
Minollo
