steve capellSubject: Instance generation from schema fails validation against the schema!
Author: steve capell

Hello,

I am evaluating Stylus Studio 6 sp 2. I needed an instance document to be
generated from a schema (specifically the eurofer Order schema available from
http://www.eurofer.org/edifer/publicpdf/BP_Ordering.xsd
and the referenced schema imports:
http://www.eurofer.org/edifer/publicpdf/BP_Ordering.xsd and
http://www.eurofer.org/edifer/publicpdf/CoreComponentTypes.xsd

I imported the BP_Ordering root schema and used the schema->wizard. The generated file
lost the namespace prefixes from the lib and cct schemas and so did not validate against
the schema that I had just used to generate the instance. This seems
like a fairly obvious bug?

Hi Steve,
thanks for reporting this problem: we changed the code not to use a default
namespace in the generated XML instance, so that local elements can be
assigned to the empty namespace as the schema dictates.
The fix will be available in the next update.

Thanks,
Alberto
