Lee HumphriesSubject: SS Feature Request: Default path for File Open
Author: Lee Humphries

It's always a pain to have to change the default file path from the SS/Bin directory to the one I'm actually working on.

It would be really handy to have the file path defaulted to the last one used.

If this could be stored in Project files so that they defaulted to their last file path when you opened them it would be even better.

But if the project file is under Source Safe control, the project file is changed every time I'm using a new path for opening a file. The default path after starting SS could be the path of the project file and than the path could be tracked for the current session.
Btw there is a similar problem when using an external processor (or using saxon in beta 4.5): The current path of the process should be the current path of the processed stylesheet, not the last path used in SS.
