Bruce WallaceSubject: Replace All in selection BUG
Author: Bruce Wallace
Date: 03 Mar 2002 06:11 PM
When selecting a large section of text in the XML editor, and attempting to replace-all in selection (as opposed to entire doc),
the editor always stops after the first replacement.
Is there a workaround for this?
It is painful because the master selection
is lost each time too meaning that one has
to re-select each time!

I have looked into the problem; yes, it's a bug. Actually, it was a known
limitation in 3.1 that replace/replace-all in selection was not possible.
We have changed some underlying code there, and it looks like we have
enabled the replace in selection functionality by mistake in BL69.

So, I will bring BL69 back to its original situation, disabling the replace
in selection button. That limitation is properly fixed in 4.0, available
in beta in a few days.

Thanks for reporting this,
Minollo
