Kevin SmothermanSubject: Internal DTD subset
Author: Kevin Smotherman
Date: 06 Dec 2001 09:47 AM
When I include the following in an XML file:

(!DOCTYPE XML-S SYSTEM "XML-S.dtd"[
(!ENTITY amp "x#38;#38;")
(!ENTITY lt "x#38;#60;")
(!ENTITY gt "x#62;")
(!ENTITY apos "x#39;")
(!ENTITY quot "x#34;")
])

(where '(' = '<', ')' = '>' and 'x' = ampersand)

I get a "Partial markup error" for the last character. What don't I understand?

Thanks all.

Kev

Hi Kevin,
I tried to reproduce the problem but I get no error; can you verify you are
running the latest version (3.1 bl69e)?
If this is the case, can you attach (or send via e-mail) the full XML and DTD?

Thanks,
Alberto
