(Deleted User) Subject: Mapping lines disappearing

Hi,
I have tried to use the mapping tool and found it works great when you just drag and drop. If I do things such as 'use templates' I find that moving the windows around changes the lines on the mapping. This gets very confusing because you then have to dive into source code and through the mapping away.
Secondly I have two types of scenarios to map from into one set of responses, i.e. two incoming messages to one outgoing but with different mappings. I want to be able to express xsl:if and xsl:choose on the mapping tool.

can you be more specific on 'moving window around', do you refer to
switching tabs, docking propery window or something else.

there is one thing I want to note is 'use template' is an advanced peoperty
and mapper will create a NAMED tempalte for the link with this property and
sublinks and create a xsl:call-template to refer to this template. mapper
does not support xsl:apply-templates yet.

this is the limitation of current mapper. you have to do the conditional
mapping through source code. we did receive some similar requests for this
feature and have filed a PCR for it but we don;t have a definite schedule
for it yet.

thanks for you suggestion.

This seems to mainly happen when you switch to source or if you resize the output window. The main problem is not that the lines go but that you have no idea from the mapping view that you have handled a mapping already. I have noticed that this is linked with using templates.
