Max LeeSubject: Any way of using Studio without IE5
Author: Max Lee

I want to use Stylus Studio on a new project, I've used Stylus at another site and liked it. Problem is that the administrators here will not let IE5 within a mile of 'their' machines. OK I could hack it in, but it's not going to be much good as an ongoing tool if everyone on the project has to do that, so if IE5 is a must then its a NO SALE. A shame I think, any ideas anyone?

Sorry; IE5 is required.
I wonder how your administrator will manage to keep IE5 away from your
machines when you will upgrade to w2k or xp...

IE meant as the graphical browser is used by Stylus Studio to preview XSLT
applied to an XML document.

IE meant as a set of APIs to handle URLs and to provide other useful
character encoding functionality are used throughout the product.

In the future, we will have a stronger dependency on IE when wysiwyg will
be available; wysiwyg is based on the IE control.
