Subject:converting string to XMLDocument Author:Chris Longfield Date:27 Mar 2001 08:41 AM
I am familiar with this method, but it creates a file in the excelon store in which the directory resides (by Directory.creteXMLstore you mean some instance of Directory, right? Or is there some static method as well? )
What I would like to do is change an XML string into an com.exln.dxe.filesystem.XMLDocument so that I can execute a transform against it. Then I might want to execute a transform against that result as well (so I would like to convert it to the XMLDocument form). Is there any way to do this outside of writing to the database? Or is an excelon XMLDocument always a pointer to the database object?
Thanks,
Chris Longfield

P.S. I know this specifically is in regards to a excelon ps3.0 implementation, but wouldn't the 2.5 and 2.6 users like to know as well?

Sure; but you are on the wrong forum; this is for Stylus users, not for
Portal Server users...
The "Portal Server Technical Forum" is the right place to post such
questions if they also matter for 2.x users.
